Topical Storm Felix
Been awake since 4am today. It was almost like Ivan again... lots of rain and then the winds slowly picking up until it was gusting to 30+mph. Too much like Ivan! Luckily, Felix (thats the name they are giving this one) did not have time to develop before reaching us.
Lost a papaya tree and lots of grapefruit, but no damage.
Power is out at the moment...made a short run down the road around 6:30 and a few lines were down and i saw one water mains broken in our area.
Not much flooding, which is good.
Check on the webcam and you'll see one tree which broke in the winds early this morning.
Moni is yelling about the cold water in the shower....solar heaters don't work too well without sunshine ;-)
