Little Dipper.......

The Little Dipper Restaurant Grenada
The Little Dipper

Today we thought we would tell you about one of our favourite places to eat local food and to relax :-)

The little Dipper in Woburn is just an amazing place. The first time I saw it, I thought wow that little wooden house is cute and has an amazing view.

Later on, I realized it was a tiny restaurant.

People had told us before that we should try the Little Dipper because the food is very good, but somehow we never managed to go there.

Finally in August we decided to check it out and invited some friends along. It was a excellent decision!

Since then we try to go there at least once a week.

Joan, the owner & cook is a very nice woman who serves one of the best lambi dishes on the island.

I can personally vouch for the Lambi but Neil swears by the fish dinner. It will have you going back for more ;-).

Prices are very reasonable too.

The restaurant only has about 3 or 4 tables, but that is its charm. The view over the bay and towards Hog island is fabulous.

The view alone is well worth it, but we were more interested in the food.

The Little Dipper is open for lunch and dinner Monday to Saturday. Phone: 473/444-5136

Well I did get to visit and it was well worth it. Our team thoroughly enjoyed the entire meal and will be back each time we visit. The lambi is tops and so is the fish.

We visit the Little Dipper regularly. Always made to feel welcome. Great little place, with great views. Not only does Joan make you feel welcome, but nearly all the diners seem to have time to have a chat as well. smilies/wink.gif
