For the past couple of months we have been noticing the chinese workers putting up a building in Woodlands, next to the Sugar Factory.

We naturally assumed that it was either accommodation for their workers, or some sort of warehouse for supplies used in construction.

Turns out that it is actually a hotel! Of course, we got a few photos. You can't miss it..the colors make it stand out like a sore thumb.
What is a little striking is that there was no fanfare whatsoever. You did not hear about it until it was in the final stages of construction.
As a hotel, it is not in the best of places, being right next to the Sugar Factory, but somehow i doubt that will be a problem.
It has certainly gone up faster than most other buildings that size (could be because they are doing more than 1 work shift a day).
I guess we just have to wait and see how it progresses.
