Grenada Sight: Seven Sisters Waterfall

Posted by monja in Sights

The pools at the Seven Sisters falls are the perfect place to beat the heat, or just relax with some friends on a picnic. The water is nice and cool….(this is a polite way of saying that it is 'COLD'!!)
However, after hiking to the falls, this just makes it very refreshing. The falls are fun to swim under, and you get a good workout just getting there against the current.

Cool spot to beat the heat

Posted by monja in Sights

If you would like somewhere to go to get away from the crowds and just relax and enjoy a refreshing soak in a river, then we would suggest you try the one in Victoria, near the old Tufton Hall estate.
We recently went there, and can highly recommend it.

Easy Rain Forest Hike - Cascade

Posted by monja in Sights , Reviews and Tips

grenada rain forest cascadeSlightly off the beaten path, and where you can go on your own if you rent a vehicle, are the small cascades upstream of the Seven Sisters Falls.

We're not talking about the bigger Falls which are the more popular destination of visitors and locals alike, but the small Cascades on one of the streams which feed the main Falls.

Its the perfect place to relax away from the beach and just enjoy a cool soak in the river. Its usually deserted, as hardly anyone goes there.
